Fitment

Steel reinforcement that threads right onto your factory tie rods. The fix for the weak point every RMAX owner already knows about.

Bent tie rods are the RMAX owner's rite of passage. You find the weak spot the hard way, usually a long way from the truck, and then you go looking for a fix and find the same imported part that bent in the first place.

So we made the one we actually wanted to run. A steel sleeve with female threads that screws straight onto your OEM tie rods — no cutting, no welding, no waiting three weeks on a box from overseas. Simple on purpose, and priced so it's an easy yes rather than a science project.

You get a pair. Both sides, one box.

We machine these ourselves in our shop in Kentucky, and we run them on our own machines. That's the whole pitch.

Why it works

  • Steel where it counts — real reinforcement at the exact spot that bends
  • Threads onto your OEM rods — works with your factory setup, nothing to cut or weld
  • A pair in every box — both sides covered
  • Made in the USA — machined in our own shop, not sourced and rebranded
  • Ride-tested — we run these on the machines our own family rides

Fitment — read this before you order

Fits 2021–2026 Yamaha RMAX2 1000 and RMAX4 1000.

That's the list. If your machine isn't on it, these aren't for you yet — message us and we'll tell you straight rather than sell you the wrong part.

Install

About 30 minutes with normal hand tools — wrenches, pliers and a hammer. No cutting, no welding, no special tooling. If you've done your own suspension work you'll find this easy; if you haven't, it's a good first job.

What's in the box

One pair of Thread-On Tie Rod Strengthening Sleeves. Nothing you don't need.

Warranty

Warranted against workmanship issues. If we made it wrong, we make it right — you'll be talking to the person who machined it.

Backed by real people in a real shop. Ships from Kentucky. If something isn't right, you talk to us — not a call center.
