Bent tie rods are the RMAX owner's rite of passage. You find the weak spot the hard way, usually a long way from the truck, and then you go looking for a fix and find the same imported part that bent in the first place.

So we made the one we actually wanted to run. A steel sleeve with female threads that screws straight onto your OEM tie rods — no cutting, no welding, no waiting three weeks on a box from overseas. Simple on purpose, and priced so it's an easy yes rather than a science project.

We machine these ourselves in our shop in Kentucky, and we run them on our own machines. That's the whole pitch.

Install

About 30 minutes with normal hand tools — wrenches, pliers and a hammer. No cutting, no welding, no special tooling. If you've done your own suspension work you'll find this easy; if you haven't, it's a good first job.
